With the MD line of notebooks, Midori has upheld its tradition of crafting fine paper for an exceptional writing experience. The cream colored paper has been developed in-house since the 1960s, and rigorously tested for performance with all kinds of writing instruments, including fountain pens. It is smooth with just enough texture to provide feedback to the writer. Thread binding ensures a sturdiness, and allows the notebook to lay flat while open. 

The MD Notebook Journal is, in a word, zen. The dot grid in light green is unobtrusive, and the cover is the same cream color as the paper, giving the book a seamless look. A thin wax paper cover comes with the journal and can be removed or kept on as a light dust jacket. A protective PVC cover can be purchased separately. 

Included with the Notebook Journal is a sticker sheet with printed index stickers, and optional binding stickers. Each book contains 192 pages, for one half year of journaling.
